I am cutting the end caps of some aluminum cans using the latest version of LB software (2.0.04) and my rotary chuck. All components are horizontal, tangential, vertical, etc. - I have checked repeatedly because on my first attempt, I found that after rotating the chuck once, the cutting lines did not coincide again.
This left me puzzled, so I tried to carve a 3mm rectangle on the circumference, and everything was perfectly aligned. I found that the only way to obtain a clean and sharp cut is to carve a very small rectangle, only 0.100 millimeters, so that everything aligns after cutting and the effect meets expectations.
I want to know if this is a software error with the line tool, or if there is anything missing in my settings.

I would suggest putting something more solid in the rotary, wrapping with black tape, and running same parameters at the same distance from center, try to repeat everything but maybe turn the power down. It would confirm if it is a software issue or more likely it is an issue with an unstable pop can moving/ warping/ twisting etc.

Actually it was a “Layer 1” (end user) issue. I thought that the straight line I drew was snapped to the grid - end to end. Turns out I apparently let up on the shift key slightly too soon and there was an ever so slight offset on one end of the line. That’s what the issue was.
