RDWorksV8 does not blow air and does not output a signal during machining
During the machining process, the blowing function of RDWorksV8 is not activated and there is no signal output. Possible reasons and troubleshooting suggestions are as follows:
1. Air blower not enabled
In the RDWorksV8 software, verify whether the "Air Blower Enable" option is checked. If it is not enabled, the control system will not send an air blow signal to the relay. It is recommended to check the software parameter settings to ensure the corresponding port is enabled and the output logic is correct.
2. Incorrect relay wiring
Even if the software settings are correct, improper relay wiring to the control card (such as reversed normally open/normally closed connections, mismatched wiring order, or poor contact) may prevent the solenoid valve from activating the air blow function. It is recommended to recheck the wiring against the circuit diagram and verify whether the relay coil is engaging properly.
3. Air blow disabled in layer settings
RDWorksV8 supports independent processing parameters for each layer. If the "Air Blow" option is set to "Off" for the current processing layer, the system will not output an air blow signal during processing of that layer. It is recommended to check the parameter configuration for each layer and ensure that air blow is enabled for the layers that require it.
