RDC6612U-DFM/RDC6685U-DFM secondary positioning error handling method

Matthew

When using the RDC6612U-DFM/RDC6685U-DFM control system, a secondary positioning error may result in inaccurate positioning or splicing failure. Here are two effective methods to address this issue:

1. Matching timeout and short stabilization time:
Solution: When the matching timeout or stabilization time is set too short, the camera may start positioning before it has fully stabilized, leading to reduced positioning accuracy. To optimize the positioning accuracy, you can extend the matching timeout and stabilization time to allow the camera more time to stabilize and reliably recognize the mark. Extending these times can help ensure the marker is identified accurately, thus reducing secondary positioning errors.
Additionally, to improve accuracy, it is recommended to place the Mark point as close to the center of the recognition marker as possible. This reduces the movement distance during recognition and minimizes potential positioning errors.

2. Camera cannot reach the location of the recognition marker:
Solution: If there is a significant distance between the camera and the recognition marker, or physical limitations prevent the camera from reaching the exact location of the marker, secondary positioning errors may occur. The solution is to adjust the marker's position so that it is as close as possible to the point where the camera and the moving axis intersect. This ensures the camera can reach the marker location quickly, improving recognition accuracy and secondary positioning precision.
