I'm hoping someone here can help me with a problem I'm having.

I turned on my system this morning and as the motors homed, they moved normally, when I tried to move the head to a location to start a job, the motors moved but were making a grinding sound and vibrated in the direction of motion.

I then tried to fire the laser and got nothing from the control panel, so I hit the Laser power supply test, and the tube lit up, so I'm pretty sure it's okay.

I had changed out my Ruida control panel a few years ago and I still had my old panel and controller and swapped them out and it still does the same thing when trying to move the head.

Now this is the crazy part I can't send a file from my computer, (communication error) but if I call up a file from the controller memory it runs just fine, with no motor vibration at all.

I think it has something to do with my RD6442S controller but I would like to have some more info before I buy a new one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

1. The misalignment of the servo motor may be the main source of noise. This is usually due to the misalignment of the motor shaft that causes vibration and noise. Check the motor shaft for loose or foreign objects.
2. If you can't download the file to the panel, you can format the memory, clean up the original memory file and try other files of the correct format.
