Recently, TRUMPF, a leading global provider of machine tools and laser technology solutions, released preliminary data for the 2023/24 fiscal year: compared to the previous fiscal year, sales decreased by about 4% year-on-year to 5.2 billion euros; The order amount decreased by 10% to 4.6 billion euros.

The Tongkuai Group ended its 2023/24 fiscal year on June 30, 2024, with a decrease in both sales and order volume. According to preliminary statistics, the company's sales revenue for the 2023/24 fiscal year was 5.2 billion euros (2022/23 fiscal year: 5.4 billion euros), and the order amount was 4.6 billion euros (previous fiscal year: 5.1 billion euros).

In the domestic market of Germany, sales increased by about 4.5%, achieving a revenue of approximately 815 million euros (compared to 779 million euros in the previous year). However, the sales of Express in the United States failed to catch up with the strong growth of the previous year. Sales decreased by approximately 12% to around 790 million euros (compared to 900 million euros in the previous year). The strongest market in Asia is China, with sales of approximately 615 million euros (previous year: 600 million euros). After many years, Germany has once again become the largest single market for Transfast.

Ms. Nicola Leibinger Kamm ü ller, Chairman of the Executive Board of Transfast Group, stated, "In the previous fiscal year, global economic weakness and geopolitical uncertainty led many clients to be unwilling to make new investments. Continued weak demand will also be a characteristic of the coming months of the new fiscal year. Transfast will continue to take clear measures to address this economic crisis and increase returns.

As of June 30, 2024, the number of employees in the Tongkuai Group has increased to approximately 18550, with approximately 9100 employees in Germany and around 6000 working at the headquarters in Diqingen.
