Streamlight, a leading supplier of high-performance lighting and weapon lights/laser aiming equipment, has launched upgraded models of its TLR RM 1 and TLR RM 2 series of lights, each now equipped with an HPL face cap, providing ultra bright beams of up to 1000 lumens and an extended range of up to 22000 candela.

The popular TLR RM 1 and TLR RM 2 models are equipped with red or green lasers, both of which have upgraded new face caps to provide better beam distance.
Ray Sharrah, President and CEO of Streamlight, stated that adding HPL face caps to these models can generate high flow lights while providing powerful beams with a wide range and reliable peripheral coverage. They can project more light onto distant targets, making them a powerful tool for law enforcement professionals, military personnel, hunting and shooting enthusiasts, and others operating in low light conditions. The model that integrates red and green aiming lasers helps to better focus on the target before taking any action.

Each lamp installed on the track is packaged as a system with independently operated buttons and remote pressure switches, providing instantaneous or constant operation; This kit provides everything users need to install onto a long gun. These lights are also available in pure light models.

The laser model includes a three position mode selector that can switch between LED only, LED/laser, or laser only modes. All light masks provide a "safe shutdown" function to prevent accidental activation.

The upgraded model is designed to quickly and safely connect to any long gun with MIL standard 1913 or NATO rails, without the need to place your hand in front of the muzzle. These lights provide highly precise line of sight repeatability during reinstallation. Each lamp includes a key kit that can be securely installed on various weapons.

All models are equipped with white power LEDs and include a customized TIR optical device that produces a concentrated beam with optimal peripheral lighting. The TLR RM 1 laser and TLR RM 2 laser also have a 640-660nm red laser, while the TLR RM 1 Laser-G and TLR RM 2 Laser-G use a 510-530nm green laser. The TLR RM 1 and TLR RM 1 laser models offer beam distances of 500 lumens, 11000 candela, and 210 meters, while the TLR RM 2 and TLR RM 2 laser models offer beam distances of 1000 lumens, 22000 candela, and 297 meters. All lights also have user programmable strobe function.

The TLR RM 1 and TLR RM 1 laser models each use a 3V CR123A lithium battery, with a length of 9.25 centimeters and weights ranging from 85.6 grams to 91.9 grams. The TLR RM 2 and TLR RM 2 laser models both include two 3V CR123A lithium batteries, measuring 12.6cm in length and weighing from 132.7g to 144.7g. All six models have a continuous running time of 1.5 hours and a strobe time of 3 hours. In laser mode, TLR RM 1 laser and TLR RM 2 laser can run for 60 hours, while TLR RM 1 Laser-G and TLR RM 2 Laser-G can run for 11 hours.

These lights are made of durable anodized aircraft aluminum and come with impact resistant BOROFLOAT glass lenses. The waterproof operation level of the laser version is IPX4, while the waterproof level of the non laser version is IPX7.
