The 2023 International Quantum Photonics Conference attracted over 600 attendees from 16 countries and regions

On November 25th, Jinhua welcomed the 2023 International Quantum Photon Conference, which will lead the future of technology. This grand event is jointly hosted by the Chinese Society of Optical Engineering and the Jinhua Municipal Government, with joint support from the University of Science and Technology of China, Zhejiang Normal University, and the PhotoniX journal. The conference, with the theme of "Quantum Light Illuminates the Future", attracted more than 600 attendees from 16 countries and regions, including more than 50 overseas experts.

The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Professor Lu Chaoyang from the University of Science and Technology of China, who stated that the conference has provided an important platform for researchers in the field of quantum photonics. The first speaker was Anton Zeilinger, President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, who paid tribute to the conference through an online video and affirmed the significance of this grand event. Subsequently, Academician Lv Yueguang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Academician Dou Xiankang, Director of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, also delivered speeches, emphasizing the potential of quantum technology in various fields of application.

The conference has multiple keynote speeches and forums, attracting experts from around the world to share. In addition, various activities such as the Academician Expert Quantum Photon Science Popularization Forum, PhotoniX Editor in Chief Meeting, Quantum Leap: Photon Table Tennis Competition, etc. allow the audience to get up close to the charm of quantum technology.

The "Exhibition of Excellent Achievements in Quantum Photonics" showcases the achievements of 50 exhibitors, comprehensively reviewing and showcasing the academic achievements in the field of quantum information and the development related to the industrial chain. This achievement exhibition covers three categories: core devices, cutting-edge technologies, and applications and systems, showcasing the development achievements in multiple fields, including laser technology, quantum computing, quantum communication, etc.

The development speed of quantum photon technology is astonishing, demonstrating enormous market potential and future development space. This international event has ignited new enthusiasm in the optoelectronics industry, guiding technology investment and public awareness of future technology, injecting new impetus into the upgrading and innovation of the industry.
