I'm using an RDC6442S-B(EC) controller, and I've connected my laser to the local network. The network connection itself seems fine, but RDWorks keeps giving me a "communication failed" error. Any idea what might be causing this?

1. Is the software set to IP communication mode?
2. Is the mainboard model set to RDC6442S?
3. Does the software IP match the control panel IP?
4. Is the IP address already in use by another device?
5. Is the Ethernet cable working? Try a different cable.
