Why is vector import so ineffective?

Hello! I’m new to the world of laser engraving and cutting, I have a Sculpfun S9 laser, I use Illustrator for my designs, I was making some keychains but when the shape is very complex the vector imports so badly, it gets deformed. I noticed that it does this if the vector had a lot of points, I tried to clean it up but now I see that some shapes are displaced and there are still some deformations.
What would be the best way to import them without losing any detail?
