Method for setting the vibration knife control system to not lift the knife at the turning point (operation steps instructions)
1. Enter the optimization parameter settings and set the tool lift angle
First open the oscillating knife control software and enter the main system interface. In the menu bar, find and click “Parameter Settings”, then select “Optimization Parameters”. In the optimization parameter interface, choose the corresponding tool according to the tool currently being used. Find the option called “Lift Angle” and set the value to 180°. This setting helps reduce the automatic lifting of the knife when the machine reaches a corner, allowing the tool to maintain continuous cutting within a larger turning angle range, thereby improving processing efficiency and reducing cutting marks.
2. Set the lift angle in the user processing parameters
After completing the optimization parameter settings, enter the “User Parameters” interface. In this section, find “Processing Parameters”. In the parameter list, locate the “Lift Angle” option and also set it to 180°. This step ensures that the parameters used during actual processing remain consistent with the optimization parameters, preventing the machine from lifting the knife automatically at corners due to inconsistent settings, which could affect cutting continuity.
3. Save the parameters and perform a test cut
After all parameters are set, click “Save” or “Apply” to ensure the settings take effect. It is recommended to perform a simple test cut before starting formal production. Observe the machine’s movement at corner positions. If the tool maintains continuous cutting at corners without obvious lifting, the settings are successful and the machine can be used for normal processing.
