Robotic lawn mowers are becoming increasingly popular due to their convenience and ability to save time and effort. Although robotic lawnmowers have made significant progress over the years, many robots still require users to lay perimeter wires to define the mowing area and remove any obstructions from the lawn to ensure the mower doesn't get stuck or damaged.

Well, that's not the case with the Neomow X robotic lawn mower. Developed by Hong Kong-based company Hookii, the Neomow X is the first innovative robotic lawnmower equipped with an advanced LiDAR SLAM navigation system.

Neomow's advanced LiDAR SLAM navigation system uses laser sensors to enable real-time 3D mapping of the environment. LiDAR SLAM Precision Navigation takes on the task of navigating the lawn with unparalleled precision, ensuring that every square inch is carefully mowed. With this cutting-edge technology, Neomow X can easily cope with challenging lawn conditions and is not affected by light or signal interference.

The robot lawnmower integrates a 360° LiDAR module and an intelligent obstacle avoidance system, which can detect and avoid obstacles in all directions, and independently plan avoidance routes. It also has a wide-angle front bumper for additional protection.

It features a patented stylish design with embedded blades and a cut-out disc that prevents grass clippings from clogging the disc.

In addition, the new mower is also equipped with intelligent automatic charging function, when the battery is low, Neomow can automatically return to the charging station. After charging, it picks up where it left off last time. Charging stations can be installed indoors or outdoors according to your preference.

The Neomow X has a 234Wh lithium battery that provides up to 120 minutes of mowing time, and the Neomow X pro has a 315Wh battery that lasts up to 180 minutes.

The robot uses a front-wheel drive system that helps it move smoothly on any terrain. In addition, the mower has a 45-degree climb capability and an IPX5 waterproof rating to mow lawns in any weather. Neomow X operates at noise levels below 60dB during the day and at night without compromising the peaceful environment.

The mower can be customized with the Hookii app, allowing you to easily personalize mowing preferences, set schedules, and monitor progress from your smartphone. The app can also be used to choose between four different mowing modes, set the height of the floating cutting disc, adjust the mowing Angle for each task, or track the GPS coordinates of a device if it is stolen.

In addition, Neomow X offers multiple connectivity options, including 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, for easy remote control, configuration, and location monitoring.

The Neomow X and Neomow X Pro are only available on Kickstarter and start at $1,199 and $1,499, respectively.
