LOTMAXX has announced the launch of the ET model, a new type of 3D printer that can also be used as a laser cutting machine. According to the manufacturer, the core component is a fast direct extruder with a printing speed of up to 500 millimeters per second.

LOTMAXX ET features an all metal casing with a printing volume of 250 x 250 x 265 mm. According to the announcement, as a special feature, the print head can be easily replaced with a laser head with a power of 20 watts. This means that in addition to printing, ET can also be used for engraving and cutting.

LOTMAXX achieves high speed through direct extruder and accelerated filament conveying. The camera system can also monitor the printing process in real-time. Application control is also on board.

Thanks to the automatic leveling and precise linear guidance of the printing bed, LOTMAXX is designed to provide high accuracy even at high speeds. The maximum printing speed is 500 mm/s, and the positioning accuracy is 0.1 mm.
ET will soon be launched through the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. The planned early bird price is $299.
