What did I do wrong to prevent Lightburn from saving rotation settings?

I’m trying to use my rotary with Lightburn 1.6.03. However, when I try to set the steps per rotation and wheel diameter using a roller rotary, Lightburn will not save and store the settings. It will go back to the default settings. The roller rotary was working. What am I missing?

      when you click Laser Tools > Rotary Setup, it doesn’t show any errors on that window (at the bottom), but the settings never change?

          : I think I know what happened. My Thunder Laser is connected the my laptop PC with a USB cable. I wiggled the cable and the Ruida controller connected to the PC. Guess what? Everything is working as it should. Thanks
