Total newbie - Atomstack P7 M40 grinding issue

Hello all. I am a total novice and newbie to the world of laser cutters/engravers

I have just purchased the Atomstack P7 M40. Seems a great little unit.

My question is this. If I home the unit, its fine. But as soon as I try to frame a job the laser mount (not sure what the technical name for this is) seems to try and come to far back and then the belt grinds. Its bouncing off the back of the unit. How do I go about fixing this?

      Are you overriding any warning message in the process?

If you’re not using Absolute Coords as the Start from mode in Laser window then suggest you do so and try again. Also, make sure you never move the laser module by hand after homing, use jogging controls exclusively.
