Cutting material after running a test cutting card

Material Batch, Humidity, air assist, wood glue, surface finish and surface treatment all impact the ability to engrave or cut with a laser.
The Material test is a very important step to making certain the engraving behavior is known.
Setting the incorrect units for speed mm/s (instead of mm/minute) will make your engraver perform very poorly.
Having the S Value max not equal to the machine setting for $30 can be a problem.
