Chinese industrial 3D printer manufacturer Huashu High tech has launched the FS811M metal powder bed fusion series platform. The FS811M series has a construction volume of 840 x 840 x 960 millimeters and can be equipped with powerful 6, 8, 10, or 12 x 500 watt fiber lasers.

"As the latest member of the Huashu High tech Metal 3D printer product portfolio, FS811M originates from our joint innovation project with major industry clients operating multiple FS621M systems," said Guo Wenyu, Deputy Director of Metal Product Line Management at Huashu High tech. "In the past two years, we have been committed to developing and optimizing the FS811M platform for specific application projects. Starting from a year ago, we have seen the rapid expansion of large-scale metal 3D printing applications in the aerospace, oil and gas, energy, and automotive fields. Compared to FS621M, industry customers have higher requirements for manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and larger building sizes. At this time, we have decided to fully commercialize the FS811M platform to expand the production scale of the metal series."

The XY construction platform size of FS811M is 840 x 840 millimeters, with a vertical axis of 960 millimeters. The final construction volume is 677 liters, making it one of the largest construction volumes in the metal laser powder bed fusion market. The high-speed galvanometer system can increase production to 300 cubic centimeters per hour. Advanced multi laser scanning strategies can achieve efficient distribution and calibration accuracy in overlapping areas, thereby achieving uniform mechanical performance of individual oversized objects or mass-produced parts in the entire large-scale construction platform.

The new multi-layer airflow and advanced wind wall design of FS811M ensure real-time particle removal throughout the ultra large chamber. The excellent airtightness design of the construction room can achieve extremely high oxygen content and low inert gas consumption during the construction process, ensuring consistency in part quality while reducing operating costs. The permanent filtration system can achieve uninterrupted and reliable processing within extreme construction times.

The molding room is equipped with front and rear doors for easy operation and maintenance. After construction is completed, the part cylinder can be transferred to the powder separation station and part extraction station through an integrated conveying system. The separation station is fully enclosed and can be accessed through four side glove boxes, allowing multiple operators to perform powder removal and detailed cleaning in a safe and inert atmosphere.

The FS811M powder processing system adopts a universal modular powder container design for loading, recovery, and screening under inert gas protection. Like all Huashu High tech systems, FS811M is an open platform that provides users with flexibility to customize process parameters for industrial applications and cost competitive metal additive manufacturing.
