5.5w to 10w measurement conversions

I am attempting to make a universal test card. The measurements for the card, which was downloaded from LA Hobby Guy, are based on using a 5.5w laser. I am using a 10w laser. what should I adjust the measurements to? I am new to laser engraving, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

      The best you can do is estimate the difference. Basically the ration difference… LA guy is 1/2 the power of yours… actually 10/5.5 = 1.8 not 2 but very close.

A 10W is about twice the power. Should be about equal to 100% power (10W) at 1/2 the speed or 1/2 the power (5W) with your current speed…
