2023-06-12People do this quite frequently. Unless you purchase it as an upgrade from the manufacturer, it will probably not be a bolt on and plug in type of upgrade. The laser modules have only a control signal or pwm along with power and ground… If you get a higher power laser, you might have to get a seperate power supply for it… I got a pair of these $80 machines from Amazon. The original laser is 500mW and the upgrade was a NEJE 40630 module… It didn’t just bolt on and plug in… Good luck
