Marvin Panaco, a subsidiary of Spectris plc located in Egham, Surrey, UK, announced the launch of its new laser diffraction particle size measurement instrument Mastersizer 3000+. Mastersizer 3000+utilizes integrated artificial intelligence and data science driven software solutions, providing method development support, data quality feedback, instrument monitoring, and troubleshooting recommendations.

Size Sure is a new feature that allows for a more in-depth study of each sample, analyzing its steady-state and transient characteristics, ensuring repeatable measurement of sample size distribution, and providing more insights into other factors.

To obtain the highest quality data, the first step is to develop the correct analytical methods. SOP Architect is driven by machine learning algorithms, aiming to construct the best method for each sample and provide a guiding workflow. The embedded data quality guide is based on Marvin Panaco's suggestion to immediately mark issues when they occur, allowing users to correct their path and continue moving forward. Both of these features are designed to help deliver data faster and simpler than before, regardless of the user's level of experience. In addition, the method transfer between Mastersize 3000 and Mastersize 3000+is equally simple.

According to reports, Smart Manager connectivity can provide preemptive advice for any maintenance requirements, ensuring that each instrument operates optimally and minimizing any analytical downtime.
