Elliptical circle on rotating device

How do those same circles work on a flat surface? I think you’re seeing some play in your machine. It might be intensified by the curvature, but I bet it will be present on a flat as well.

That object looks pretty heavy. I bet you are seeing inertia related distortion on line objects because the machine is moving both X and Y at the same time. Slow down by 50% when in line mode.
When using rotary, I do not use line. Fill mode scans straight lines, only moving one axis at a time.

  : slowing down unfortunatly doesn’t help at all… i wanted to do line mode for efficiancy reasons though
