Home page will do the opposite when I hit the down or up button

This is typically going to be due to an incorrect machine origin setting in Edit->Device Settings.
Your laser is most likely intended to be configured as a bottom-left origin machine. Check your origin and change to bottom-left if it’s not already and then retest.
