Slots in a circle or oval

Hi,
how can I create slots in a circle or oval ?
The slots should be created at the outline of the circle, like slots/tabs in a rectangle.

Anyone a idea ?

      No expert but I got it by making circle then rectangle. Place rectangle on circle. select both, do circular array to place multiple copies. Then select rectangle and circle one at a time and go to Boolean assistant to cut each of the slots.
