Does dual boot need 2 separate activations?

Wondering if I dual boot Linux and Windows on my 1 computer if that will take 2 activations or just 1. I disabled the linux one now to put the windows on but was curious if I will have to keep doing that as I go back and forth or if it is machine based rather than OS based.

      Every time you activate that is considered its own activation. So in your example, each OS would be considered one activation.
