Origin when disabling layer

Hi,
i want to add a layer whith rectangle which is not outputed to show what size is my working wood - i use A3 and A4 pieces.
The problem is, that the origin is moved to this layer rectangle even when disabling the output od the layer. This may be useful but in my scenario its not good.
Can you add a setting to move origin when disabled or keep position? Would be nice. I like to set the origin manually like in cnc too. This would be very useful
