When using Vcutworks, prompt that the number of projectors is insufficient
When using Vcutworks, if it prompts that the number of projectors is insufficient, it is generally caused by the following reasons:
1. Confirm whether the actual number of connected projectors meets the software requirements. Vcutworks requires a certain number of projectors, and if the physical projectors connected are fewer than the software expects, the warning will be triggered. Ensure all projectors are properly connected to the computer and powered on.
2. Verify whether the projectors are set to Extended Mode. In many cases, projectors default to Mirror Mode, where the same content is displayed on multiple screens. Vcutworks requires extended mode so that different content can be projected onto separate screens for visual calibration or positioning. If the projectors are still in mirror mode, the system will consider the available projector quantity insufficient. Adjust the display settings in the system or through the graphics card control panel to switch to extended mode.
3. Check the graphics card driver settings for the projectors. An outdated or improperly configured driver may prevent the system from recognizing each projector as an independent display, affecting Vcutworks’ detection of projector quantity. It is recommended to update the graphics driver to the official recommended version and ensure each projector is recognized as a separate monitor, with resolution and refresh rate configured according to software requirements.
