Using RDWorksV8 to cut out graphics with incorrect size
When using RDWorksV8 to cut shapes, the issue of incorrect shape size may be caused by the following factors:
1. Is the motor step setting correct?
The motor step setting is a key parameter that controls the cutting accuracy of the equipment. If the motor step setting is incorrect, it may result in a size deviation of the cut shapes. Ensure that the step setting in RDWorksV8 matches the actual hardware step size, especially for different types of motors and drive systems. It is recommended to recalibrate the step setting and check the working status of the drive motor to make sure it does not cause dimensional errors due to incorrect settings.
2. Has the rotary engraving function been enabled?
The rotary engraving function is mainly used for cutting circular or complex curves. If this function is mistakenly enabled, it may cause the shape to deviate in terms of size or form during the cutting process, especially for straight lines or rectangular shapes. Check the engraving mode in the RDWorksV8 settings to ensure the rotary engraving function has not been unintentionally activated. If it is not needed, disable it to ensure the correct size of the cut shape.
